So as a title I need information about engine driven air compressor pilot valve .
I need an air compressor that gives much air output.
I can't afford a real one for the moment I have a little 6,5HP Lombardini oil engine (gasoline start ,diesel+gasoline run)
A friend that collect scrap metals to sell it,can give me a belt compressor pump for free
Now the problem is that i need to discarge the load of the pump when the air tank is pressured at 8 or 10 Bar
I see that this kind of compressor uses a special valve that obviously keep the pressure on the tank and that at the same time open a discarge out line to make the pump run without load .
This valve takes also the engine in idle when we have the right pressure on the tank
Now my idea is go to modify an idraulic fitting (T) adding a pin valve loaded by a little spring .
This "valve" is drived by a cable that is pulled by the pression switch set on about 8 bars .
I have to draw a little project to make you understand what I'm saying because I understand that it is little bit complicated to be understood
The working of this valve is easy I think
When the tank is empty the load valve is closed ,the engine is running and the pump is under load .
When the tank is full at 8 or 10 Bar (depends on what safety pop off valve I will find) the pressure switch open the circuit but I will use the lever Sistem to pull the wire that opens the unload valve .
The pump output tube been discarded ,the pump is running free ....
When the tank pressure goes down ,the pressure switch close the circuit and the wire isn't tensioned anymore ,the spring on the valve press the valve that been closed
The pump is under load another time
I'm drawing as you can understand this
