Doing a diy project as on furlough. Couple of odds and ends in shed. Still not finished due to weather

Nice. Way beter than the over cluttered stuff that is for sale all over the internet.
I have always struggled with this sort of thing, I never have the vision for all the components.
2nd photo is great, idea is filed away for suture reference
Personally I would have stripped the paint off the bits and left the forehead open.

Yep your right should of cleaned of paint , and cleaned all the pieces iv put on , iv made more work for my self. I’m half way through. Went and welded the main on using bike chain . Now iv got to clean all the oil of .Next time a bit more planning.
