Horseshoes

My Captain from my last crew is retiring and we used to play horseshoes alot. He is one of those guys that gets danged lucky very often. The guy pointing and laughing is him and I am the one bent over in frustration. I made it a two part sculpture so he can display it wherever. If ya look close, you will see that I (I always threw silver and he always threw red) had a ringer and a leaner and he topped my ringer and put a ringer on my leaner. That actually happened one time. Dang him.

I think I must be getting old. When I say "close only counts with horse shoes and hand grenades" in work the young guys just look at me blankly.

Lookin good. With short uprights on one side they would make lovely book ends.
