Hourly wage rate

Hi folks have just joined. I've been welding in a professional capacity for 23 years. But this is my first ever forum. What I wanted to know if there is any professional welder fabricators out there what seems to be the going rate on your hourly wage.

Just a curious question mate, if you have been welding for 23 years....have you been welding for free? I would of thought by now you must know what a welder earns ?

Have been a blacksmith for most of my working life,the last time I was just doing fabrication and beam work was about 11 years ago and I was earning £9.50 a hour. Just wondering what the average rate was now.

Highly dependant on were you live and what you actually can / are doing. Its a bit like asking about house prices so variable. Search on line for jobs and see what compares best.
