If you are going to buy from them, then stick £30 on top and get there belt drive one. QUIETER ! and bigger tank. No tools but they are only basic.

ABAC pumps are also fitted by a good few other brands as well; my old SIP 100L and BluePoint 150L units have ABAC pumps - and I think my big Clarke 270L 3Ph monster has one as well.

I may take your advice but i have no tools to go with yet.
Was not sure of the quality when it comes to wolf and im very hesitant about buying tools now after purchasing so real bad crap in the past...lol

The compressor you are looking at is driven directly by the motor and revs higher making more noise, a belt driven compressor runs slower and is quieter in comparison.
Does this mean that the air biulds up slower?
I cant get delivery for yet, i'll have to wait untill there is someone home to receive it.

No since the size difference of the pulleys makes up for the slower motor speed

The head unit on a belt drive is running far more slowly than a direct drive head unit. The pulley arrangement slows the speed down even more on the head unit compared to motor speed. It's bore size which matters more than speed. CFM is CFM. Check the ratings of the machines you're looking at.
Plus, with the older units, they're of heavier/sturdier construction, so less noisy from that alone.

Ah that would make sense since the pulley on the motor is smaller than the pump.
