Mine's all over the place. I try to weld outside as much as possible and it's a schlep walking up and down getting the correct clamp or vice for the job.
As said, hung or clamped to/around something convienient- a length of tube/rod/angle running horizontally under the welding table/bench/welders cart for example. Things like clecos i 'install' on a sheet metal offcut (suitably bent) so it acts like a dispenser
I have them clamped on a shelf over the workbench, The longer ones live on top of the bench shears, and the tiny ones lve in my old camping saucepan I do like to be able to find whateveritis I need without having to go looking for it.
I tink if I was working outside on an installation I would keep them all clamped onto a piece of wood that I would lug around with me.
I have them hanging from one of the bit's of angle that run across the garage above head level. Mole wrenches hang from the same angle, when they are not kicking around the bottom shelf.
