My name's Bill, and I muck about with custom bikes, old cars, and currently have an ex-military Land Rover Lightweight to sort out, a chop project, and my 'up-&-running' bike that gets mods now & then. And the daily old Merc needs welding. I foresee a lot of burns in the near future ...

Love welding and mucking about with metal, in a home-garage 'pass me the Bigger Hammer' sort of way...

Cheers. I've got a Clarke 151TE, about time it got a service really. It's done well, had it a few years and it's never let me down, strictly hobby levels of (ab)use though.

PM weldequip he supplies Clarke bits and has done lots of trade with members of the forum. A mates son has a lightweight in need of TLC but doesn't seam interested so might have a go my self always wanted a landy.

This is my first Landy, working on it is good fun mostly but mine's missing a bunch of stuff, and what is there is generally a right ol' bodge-up. Figuring out the missing stuff is a bit of a pain, need to see some running ones I reckon.
