This wouldn't be a problem on a flat bar, I'd simply drill a hole and cut through the centre. But I've got a round bar which needs to be welded to another bit of round bar perpendicular to each other, and I'd like them to fit together.
A milling machine would do the job, but I don't have one. I've got a ****ty little myford lathe, and a pillar drill with a mt2 quill. Could try the myford, but I'd have to buy more stuff for it and I would rather not. The pillar drill suffers from dropping whatever it's holding in the taper at the slightest inconvenience...
What's the most hassle free way of doing this without purchasing any more crap?
