How to stop portable compressor 'creeping'

I have a small compressor, two wheels on the back, lift to move around.
Very handy.

But when its filling up, the vibrations make it creep (well sprint) around until it knocks the hose loose, or unplugs itself!

What can I use to stop it moving when it's filling up ?
Rubber feet on the front ?

(not sure if it has anything, either way they dont work)

Put a wooden block under the tank near the wheels so it lifts them off the floor.

I ratchet strapped mine to the garage wall, that worked nicely

Probably no rubber on the foot end...will see if there is.

Ratchet..Mmmm.....nah !

Could make a new foot bracket that lifts the wheels off, and a new one for front....

Loop the cable around something solid so it can't pull its plug out?

I've got three with wheels and none of them move in use - they all have wheels at one end and one or two legs with rubber feet at the other end. The wheels on the Ingersol Rand often make me chuckle - it's sort of like offering to bolt a handle onto the side of a house to make it a mobile home.

What does move around is the dinky little tankless Clarke compressor I use for blowing tyres up or with the pop-riveter. Switch it on and it just wanders off across the floor until it either hits something or comes to the end of the free cable/hose. It doesn't have any wheels - just 4 rubber feet. The problem is a lack of mass - I keep thinking about tie-wrapping a brick to each side of it.

I have a unit with two wheels and one rubber foot. It jumps about but doesn't run away. Are you sure there isn't a fault in the unit that is creating large amounts of vibrations?

I'll see what I can add to it to weigh it down...aswell as looking at the feet issue.

Clamping would make it pirouette!
