Lots of interesting stuff on here, not just welding but most anything to do with it, and some things that ain't nothing to do with welding at all!
With your experience in arc (stick) welding you will be able to help out some of us guys from time to time, maybe. This is a real friendly forum, and a great bunch of guys and gals.

I've been a welder most of my life (stick) and have only in the last couple of years started mig welding (I'm 52 years old) and really love it. Just now starting aluminum welding with a spool gun. Good to know you CAN teach an old dog new tricks........
or put them down!
