You can blame Chunkolini for my being here; I know I do. Saw his stuff on the web and was smitten by what can be created just gluing metal to metal with metal, thought I'd give it a go, found the Hammerspace Community Workshop in Kansas City, took an intro class, and love it. At this point, I'm leaning toward gasless flux core welding as the equipment takes up less space and I have no big projects in mind, just welding junk together to make my version of art. Looking forward to reading more on the forum. :}

Welcome - I have a bit of a soft spot for the Mid West - my girlfriend is from Kansas.
It has always amazed me that Kansas City isn't even in Kansas lol.
She isn't really a welder though - might chip a nail.
