Hpc 2 stage compressor

hi guys,need a bit of advice,I have a 2 stage hpc compressor about 40yrs old,problem is the high pressure cylinder is running without a oil scraper on the piston the compressor is still building air ok (I broke it trying to get it off) contacted hpc they still have spare parts however the price is £162+ vat that's for 3 piston rings 1 oil scraper and reed valve plus a couple of gaskets very expensive.looked all over the place for alternative but no luck.
Any advice would be appreciated thank you.

Try a few already,probably look for another pump if it packs in.thanks anyway.

I have an old Broomwade that had a broken oil scraper ring and Broomwade wanted a really exorbitant price for a set of rings.

I searched Ebay and found a set of Chinesium rings for compressors that I could slightly modify.

Jobs a good 'un and works perfectly. Cost was less than a fiver posted!
