hvlp spraying

I would like to know how big a compressor is needed to spray with for hvlp
any one ,, please

My small cheapo gun says 7CFM. Some can be 9-12.

Varies a lot, I had a small touch-up that used 9cfm, and seen others 16cfm and beyond. My main one takes 11cfm but can use a lot more with different caps/setups.

Most belt-drive single-phase comps deliver about 9 cfm, maybe a bit more, off 3hp with a displacement about 14cfm.
