Hydronane 15

Anyone own a Hydronane 15.
Mines letting oil out the water valve bit. I took a video but cant see how to show you.

Hydrovane? Hydronane makes me think of a wet naan bread.

Surely you shouldn't have oil coming out the water drain?

It's probably the oil separator.
There is an element inside that takes the oil out of the compressed air, it could be cracked or loose.

I just ordered one of these not fitted yet and need the Shim things, and can’t buy them unless in a kit £110, i already bought a service kit plus that teddy bear gasket mentioned, but on stripping down and looking in the manual, I see there’s supposed to be the shim spacers or what ever they are.
Item F in pic.
Any ideal if I can make anything?

Bought service kits changed parts, now only getting 25psi

cant use it at mo and psi too low, some of the vanes dropped out when I was taking apart, so could be that as they need to be fitted into slots they come out off, but for fell out and had no idea what went where as no way to tell.

mines a different model... did you replace the gaskets around the vanes/rotor part?

they're light coloured plastic... they need to be exactly right or you don;t get any air pressure... they control the elearance at the ends of the rotor shaft/vanes

when you get akit you get a pill of different ones, all different thicknesses to use.... had no idea how to check what I needed with mine.... did it and got no pressure, swapped to thinner ones and got pressure

poorly hydrovane IMO sell it there will be a stampeed of muppets fighting to give you more than its really worth, then buy a new one if you need one .

there great when they are new and in use all day every day , if not you dont want one

It’s all fixed now, I made a thinner set of shims around rotor, and all good again, guess first ones were too thick as mentioned. I only bought basic service kit, so didn’t get all gaskets/shims. Removed all vanes too, cleaned them up and rotor. Fitted teddy best gasket.
Works great now no oil leaks.
