Hydrovane 15 problem

hi I have a Hydrovane 15 it builds air fine but I have a huge amount of oil in air and oil coming out of the relief valve...

I stripped it apart built back up with gaskets and oil separater but problem still there...not over filled with oil.

Any ideas?

We have one that’s now 7 months old

it had a machining flaw and they have been out twice to swap the pump head over

could you see anything when you swapped the gasket?

ours was almost invisible

Not see any cracks...I know someone before
Me had been inside compressor and since then it has used oil....think I need to strip it again and inspect it all again.

Do you have the correct oil? It can be model specific

No idea on the right one for your compressor... all I know is we have 3 on site, same range, similar age and in appearance but 3 different oils.

If you wanna be messed about and postponed delivery dates - incomplete deliveries - give Tony the idiot a miss - wide birth.

Even when challanged his own son - is embarraced at the level of customer complaints issues.


I ended up on his premises in person getting a refund. Not a nice day out - but effective! At the door at 6am on a Sunday morning - always puts paid to dismisive phones calls and no answers to emails. In person - at the door and in your face!


You gave him a recomendation.

I am giving him negative feedback....
