Having found a very nice Compair Hydrovane 23 for sale local to me i was wondering what options are there for 240 volt use .
I am hoping some of you have been through this and found a solution which is good on the wallet and reliable , from the research i have done there only looks to be 2 solutions -
1/ 240 to 415 phase converter which is very expensive and also another electrical device that will one day go wrong and cost a lot to repair .Although i would like feedback on these devices since they are new to me .
2/ get the old 415 motor re wired to suit 240 volt although will the motor have less power / torque therefore struggle to drive the air end .
Also how do you Hydrovane chaps get the compressor to fill a receiver then stop like a notmal belt driven piston job ?
I did look at the 17 pages of back history in this section but couldn't find an answer .
Many thanks for helping me out in advance .
