hydrovane 501 oil cooler

hi,

i have a hydrovane 501 1996 compressor that has a leak in the oil cooler. Every time the compressor reaches pressure and cuts off you hear air coming out of the oil cooler radiator along with oil. It has been manageable with not much oil to start but has slowly gotten worse over time.

i was wondering if there is a way to repair it or get a second hand replacement from someone who has a compressor that no longer works?

new one are about 250 to 300GBP.

Part number is 56294 and is 42a is Oil chamber parts list in manual

whats it made of copper or ally .you could take it to a radiator rep company and see if it would fix you may be able to seal it with jb weld if all else fails

they are made of ally and it needs to hold about 150psi so repairing might not be a good idea, but I happen to have a few spare parts for this size of hydrovane I think I have at least 2 spare good coolers and various other bits. if you are interested in doing a deal for a cooler let me know

I haven't any hydrovanes just a couple of piston pumps and a diesel screw thanks

automotive oil coolers have worked as have hydralic oil coolers

I have exactly the same problem with my HV501 compressor oil cooler. Do you by any chance have a suitable spare part available for sale please.

Yeah certainly would be looking to do a deal if you still have a cooler available
