Hydrovane 501 on/off switch

I've had the misfortune to smash my switch box - my comp fell over in the van and broke the switch box off - can anyone suggest a cheaper way to replace it than the £400+ that I have so far been quoted for a new one?
The machine is a 501, old but in excellent working order.

Depending on the version of hydrovane you have you may have no cheap option, as the later versions the switch box contained not only the main contactor but fault relays, run relays and also the over tempreture circuit boards, only suggestion i can make is try and get another box from RS and mount all of the components inside so they have a new enclosure

Apologies to Brightspark, I couldn't send in pictures of the switch box because I got called out when a tour driver went down with 'man-flu', I just got back on Monday night.

laserline2 - that sounds like a good idea. I have a spare 4 days before my next trip so I'll get on to it.

Thank you, a friend of mine is looking at it and he will let me know what is ok or not.
I will be in a better position to know what's needed by tonight - Friday. Hopefully it won't cost the £400+ that I have been quoted for a new switch box with all its internals.
