I'm replacing the compressor I use for my air mask as it's not up to the job. I found a reciever mounted Hydrovane at a local compressor installers when I told the owner the use I would put it to he said that there may be a chance that if the compressor re-starts due to heavy air demand while the air end is still venting down then it's possible that oil from the seperator can be pushed off and down the air line or the vane could also stall.
Can anyone with knowledge of these Hydrovanes tell me if this was to happen would it wreck my coalescing filter straight away or is the amount of oil release small enough or similar to other types of compressor that it's not a problem?
It's 502 2.2kw on a 100L reciever.
Thanks,
Eric.
