I am a Newbie

Hi Everyone,

I signed up a couple of weeks ago to basically get the background on Mig Welding. Like a few others i am planning a Haynes Roadster build and after reading up on here and there forum i have bought a Clarke 151 Turbo Mig for £100 off ebay.

So just about ready to start practising!!!

However i have just noticed that in the garage where i was planning the build is also the Gas Meter.

Am i going to kill myself if i weld in the same place as the Gas Meter?

Welcome to the forum.

You should be OK as long as there are no gas leaks.

Obviously work well away from any gas apparatus to avoid sparks and damage from impact and keep the workspace well ventilated.
