Well after reading the Bambu labs thread and speaking to a few friends who mainly have Prusa or Creality.
Have pulled the trigger on a Creality K2 plus combo.
Looks like there is a bit of a wait, hope its worth it.

The Ender 3 was good, but the K1 just does as it is asked.

Looking at the spec, it does look amazing. Obviously a Bambu copy/clone but if anyone can improve on the X1 for the price (!) Creality can. 350mm build volume will be awesome!

I will be looking forwards to a review with great interest. What is the timescale for delivery?

It's funny how things go. I recently reduced my Ender 5 plus to it's component parts as it didn't even last 5 months before the controller died.
My experience with their support was not great.
My P1S now has over 800 hours on it since March and just works.
I hope your new printer is fantastic and everything they say it is.
Hopefully Bambu bring out a larger core XY and I will purchase it when they do

It looks like its the CFS that is out of stock and it could be Jan before it arrives. we will see.
It was the build volume and heated chamber that swung it for me, wanted to use some nylons and carbon filled PPS so 300c nozzle temp and heated chamber were a must. The next unit of that style was £5K

Can I ask what made you go creality route?

Exactly, you speak as you find. Creality are a huge company with many satisfied customers.

Can I ask what made you go creality route?

Build volume and heated chamber, want to print some carb intake components for some restorations projects (if i ever get round to them) and there are quite a few parts for my RR classic i want to print.
If Bambu had the same machine i would have considered that.
The ability to use a few different splicers was a bonus too

Its coming in parts. Camera and another bit later so they can catch the Xmas trade instead of Bambu getting it.

The upgrade path is strangely weird.... I can't work out pricing though.
Anyone new getting an X1C there are a few things to watch and prepare for.
Main thing is to upgrade the standard nozzle wipe and prepare in advance if you run cardboard spools.

Oh and prepared to rebuild the AMS preferably with steel gears.

I worry for novice printers ( and I am no expert) but it's harder to manually adjust the X1C than an ender.
Oh plus it's harder having the X1C inside a cupboard than an open frame printer.
Biggest issue I found with this was the extra antivibration feet that make it hard to put in and out of the cupboard.

The ease of access to the base on the CFS is very good. I suspect Bambu will produce a MK2 as they will lose ground to Creality.

Talking about poop.

I reckon this would be 15 hours or longer on the creality enders.
ng about poop. I just printed this in just over 3 hours.

Yep, I reckon Bambu should have jumped in and sorted @ukracer problem- it wasn’t a great advert! I have been thinking of a printer- but Bambu is supposed to be printing straight out of the box - does the Creality so that?

Nope. I did not have issues because of my prior experience. Unless you count I always used Cura.

The prints I like best are the preplated ones. I enjoyed the tweaking until I just wanted the print quickly
I agree 100% you don't need to adjust it but the issue I have had would have caused a problem for a none printer user. Mainly becausei identified what was happening and why quickly. The nozzle clean was not 100 cleaning. But I already have the replacement parts on the way.

I saw so many users getting nozzle cleaning issues I knew where to look.

My problem was caused by filament snapping and jamming the AMS. The frustration was a simple wire was not long enough.
That said many users are swapping the AMS for another build.
