I need a good automotive paint cutting compound

For hand and mop use, on 2K lacquer and on plastic h/lamp lenses.
Farecla and 3M used to be good ones- any others, that are easily available?

Old T-cut in a metal tin used to sort of work. The new one I used does not seem to contain any abrasive material at all.

I’ve not ventured away from FCP for a looong time. Going from 2000 grit to a finish that’s finished/done without any lower grades or playing with. Also for a quick buff on the wife’s car when she’s dragged it through a bush, or a quick tart up.

Depends on the level of cut you're after, Scholl Concepts are fantastic. S3 gold XXL is very good and finishes down well too

Very happy with it! I did not bother with fast cut compounds as Im ok flatting to p2000 with paper. Im using cheap amazon pads and a drill/air orbital.

3m Fast Cut Plus, theres a few versions of it.
When I looked and read the TDS/docs, 3M intend you to use extra fine plus and Ultra fine SE and something else after, too many products.

i don’t doubt I’m missing something, or not fussy enough, but I’ve never used anything other than FCP as a final finish.
