I bought myself this old beast off my neighbour.
I don't think he knew anything else about it apart from the fact that it was Italian. Apparently he used to use it to spray car panels, and said it did the job well.
The cylinder is a cast iron jobbie, and it's real heavy - three man "shuffle" job (ahem..). It's looks to be larger than 100litres (well, it looks like more than 2 x my 50l compressor).
The motor appears to be rated at 2HP, and it's reasonably quiet. Not quite as quiet as my dental compressor, but still. One side has a manifold with a 1/2bsp + 3/8bsp outlets, and the other side has a single 1/4bsp.
Has anyone seen anything like it, and if so can you let me know what make it is? I quite like it, although I'm also terrified of it.. At the moment I'm running it at 7 bar with a cut in of 6 bar, as I'm terrified of exploding cylinders etc etc - I'm a wuss, I know
