Identify this compressor....

There is an old compressor here that used to be used for cold storage and pumping the odd tyre.

Any idea what it is? Looks like an old Ingersoll Rand going by the paint.

A few more, 3 phase by the way. Worth tidying up and getting back into use?

I would say so some of those old units just go on and on and on --------------------and on--------------- you get the idea,------------, vertical tank are the dogs. IMHO coz they push out less water, just check out the inside of the receiver though. Swap the motor for a newer 1ph one and BANG!

And a pressure switch

I have three phase but it would make it more portable....

I've got one almost identical.
Mine's an Ingersoll Rand, belonged to my dad, and has now been going for about 35/40 years with no problems!

Oh that's a good question, I think some sort of water pump but I'd have to ask.
