in line water filter

I have a simply 50l direct drive compressor which I use a lot for plasma cutting, general cleaning up and the odd air tool. It has the usual water separator but does still kick out some water mist when I use it a lot. Is there a desiccant filter or element filter I can add to the air line to remove more of this residue. I drain the tank regularly and don't get a huge amount from there.
Also is it worth modify the intake filter to improve on the small plastic can filter that comes as standard?

if the water separator is directly off the tank on comp the air will be getting hot and bypassing it .its best to have another at the end of the flexible line near your tool. as it cools in the pipe it will condense and the extra water separator will pick up its rare the one on my tank gets water in it but the secondary one always needs emptying
