In need of some help

hello, I've recently purchased a welder it's a cebora 155 and I was practicing using it for the first time today when after 10 minutes of using it a little bit I picked it up and pressed the trigger and nothing just a clicking noise pulled it all apart and all it does is make a clicking noise no idea what's up if anyone could shed some light on this would be really appreciated

You dont say if your welder is new or second hand. If new why not just take it back to where you bought it.
If its second hand the you have a problem.
When the welder clicks does the wire feed work? The click youre hearing is probably the contactor inside which feeds the welding current to the contact tip & hence the welding wire.
My guess,,as on another thread is problem with the rectifier, the transformers are pretty robust.
Your next steps will depend on how much you know about electrical circuits & if your confident about working on mains equipment.
Mig welders, certainly at the cheaper end of the market are fairly simple electrically. Usually comprising a transformer with switchable multinturn primary coils (power setting switches) & fixed turn secondary. There may also be a smaller auxilliary transformer to feed power to the wire feed control & drive motor. Both willl be rectified to DC current for the welding current & motor circuit feed. The welding current is switched by the contactor (the bit you can hear clicking). These are usually a readily available industrial multi contact device & the welding current is passed through all the contacts in parallel to keep within the rating of each contact.
heres a wiring diagram as an example NOT from your machine Im afraid I have a Cebora & the DC welding current is switched this diagram the AC input supply is switched but they're all pretty similar unless you pay a lot for them.

Stick a meter on the tip and the work return . Set it to dc voltage and press the trigger. Do you get a reading (depends on where you have the voltage set on the machine I’d expect 10-20 volts ish). If this is the case you have simply lost your wire feed.
The click is a combination of the the contractor and gas solenoid coming in.
I’m not going to be able to tell you what to do to fix it but some checks to narrow down the problem Would help someone who can. So check you have voltage, check you have gas. Cebora relays are renowned for been a bit sticky after a while so just check the relays contact points are opening and closing as they should. The more you check and feed back the easier it is for someone clever to tell you how to fix it.
Edit. I’m sure you know any way but if your not happy with looking inside that machine at relays when it’s powered up then please don’t do it!!! The incoming voltage on that can kill and the big fan cooling the transformer can take your pinky’s off. Only do this if you are 100% happy you are safe doing it.

Agree wholeheartedly, if youre not confident with mains wiring get somebody who is.
