Just watching this and the person in video says that the mod he has done increases air flow for air tools.
Has anybody done something like this? Its about 7:10 into the video.
Just watching the begining, he talks about a whip hose getting in the way, how can a whip hose get in the way any more than a hose attached to the end of a tool especially given the the whip is likely to be more flexible the the main hose.
Also just putting a radius on any of the air inlet ports will increase flow, I used to have a table showing the flow differences on orifice plates depending on the shape of the hole edges on the inlet side, The differences were quite amazing.
tool manufacturers don't recommend connecting tool direct to a bayonet outlet as it puts strain on the tool. they recommend short whip tails . all my stuff has short tails its much better than dragging stiff hose around
