Hello,
I have an Ingersoll Rand 242 air compressor. I assume it is already an old one as I don't find a lot of the same 242 as mine.
Daz2012 on the forum has the exact same one (has the same old style air filter):
The type plate on the side simply says Ingersoll Rand 242 and the serial number.
With this limited amount of information it is hard for me to find a correct motor and motorpulley for it.
I have a 5hp motor (I assume this 242 is a 5hp model).
I was wondering if 1000rpm is too fast for this model? I find 242 models turning at 1050rpm.
Anyone knows what the designed CFM (l/min) is for this type of 242?
Thanks
Gilles
