There is a speedarc and a pulse parameters available for that machine (I think)
The others are functional upgrades, add tig, arc, push-pull torch control etc.
Not something I have really looked into as I don't like the business model!
But I do know a rep so can find out more details if needed?

Yes, you can install pulse.
I think there are a few options like pulse Steel through to pulse multi-material
You can also upgrade from pulse to twin pulse or speed pulse etc.
I don't know if you can get one card that covers all the options or if you have to upgrade sequentially?

It is a bit like the BMW optional extra thing..
The heated seat elements are already fitted (and you must pay for that when you buy the car)
Then you have to pay extra to activate them if you want to use them.

It's software rather than hardware though. You always pay for software upgrades.
Take for example, speedarc. Not everyone wants or needs it. It cost a lot of money for Lorch to develop and market, so they need to charge for it. So the upgrade options gives everyone the best of both worlds.
By the way, the pulse option on the Micormig is not the same as Speedpulse, if you want all of the Speedpulse advantages you need an S series machine.
