Information for Aircosse, Tool Mate, C&H

Hi guys,

I am looking at getting a air compressor for my car resto project I have a full respray ahead.

So I am looking at some second hand material, I am wondering about the brand AirCosse, Tool Mate, and C&H basically because I spotted 3 different ad with them.

So I am wondering if there is a brand better then other?

As far as I know I should try to get 3HP at 100L tank and 14 CFM, hopefully I could get those spec with a max of €400.

What do you think I am dreamer?

Aircosse is supposed to be a real good brand. They are based on Eire as well i think , so should be good for parts / service for you.
I have an old 12cfm / 50 litre tank Aircosse made in 1974 , and it has never missed a beat while i have had it for the last 15 years.

For Aircosse spares, sales and repairs try www.airpower.ie based in Waterford 051 373937. They helped me out with parts for my Aircosse compressor built in 1973, in Waterford.

I have spotted an aircosse recondition with a new motor from a crowd in Wicklow, I might give them a ring tomorow to see what the story is.

I have to say that I would not mine getting something from aircosse.

If they are able to provide parts years after.
