almost identical ,except mines an upright , good hardy machines.

You'll need something seriously hefty to lift and carry it as well. There's one like it round at the shop and the tank metal is about 1/2" thick.

Same as mine, except mine was already single phase, if you scratch the paint off on the round end theres a date of manufacture.
Yours looks about the same age 21-05-39 on mine, the real early ones had round cylinder heads.

i think the concave end is over 1/2 thick, would i b rite in saying it has a 10hp motor it dwarfs the pump ,its about twice the size of the one in the advert, if you forgot u had left it on you could tell as the house lights used to dip slightly when it kicked in.

Yep came from a Council Bus depot when it shut down, back in the late eighties.
