Ingersoll rand type 30 pump oil type

Hi,
I wondering if any one knows what oil type do use on my old ingersollrand compressor.
I'm currently waiting for the sparky to wire it up then she is up and running after been sat on the bench for a number of years after a rebuild.

Copied this from some old info I have.
SSU 500 = ISO 100 = SAE 30

I just changed the oil on mine this morning while changing a burnt out motor.

The oil looked pretty good after a year or two and i just refiled it with universal farm oil.

It wasn't the right type of single phase motor and couldn't handle the start up.....it had been dodgy ever since i put it on. It used to take a couple of minutes to start in cold weather.

It now has a cap start cap run motor on it and starts up nicely.
