I assume that's a turbocharged car? How much improvement will it make?
This created a lot of debate on another forum when I did this. Would be great to see some stats on intake size, port size and increased hp if available.
Interesting that you use gasket how does that equate to ports on head we all ways started by pining manifolds to head & working out what lined up then the gasket came last.
@optima21 what engine is that manifold from? What was the theory behind narrowing the intake ports? Obviously you achieved the desired result, my only thought would be to increase low end torque and pick up but I'm wondering how restrictive it would be in the upper rpm range....
I'm no porting expert but IIRC David Vizzard used to add rather than remove material to Ford Pinto heads to improve flow and performance which at the time was contrary to most 'other tuners' practice, hopefully someone can elaborate further?
