I can work my welding plant most of the time but aint very good with computery things so I hope this comes up in the right place.
Started welding and cutting in 1964 as an apprentice plater welder; packed it in and joined the army.Did odd welding jobs building trailers and stuff for motorcycles now and then.
Returned to playing with welding a few years ago MMA and MIG, now playing with TIG scratch start (DC).
I'm just getting used to looking at forums-its a relief to find a UK based one-the yanks sure do love their jargon and numbers and stuff.
Got no questions at the moment but what did not like from the forums I have been looking at is people who jump on and ask a question without introducing themselves then don't come on again even to say thanks for the reply.
I'm probably owd fashioned.
So hello and compliments to the people who run the forum and the main contributors- I mean posters-see-I'm into the jargon now.
