Introduction

Hi to everybody, I've been trying to post this for a week but couldnt get the hang of how to do it (thanks Malcolm).
Anyway, what a fabulous site!
I've only done a small amount of Mig welding, just bits and pieces realy. I've got a Clarke 100e and Argoshield and Oxy/Acetylene. One job I've got coming up is to repair the front cross-member on a Micra. I'll let you know how I get on.

I learnt to drive in the first type of Micra. Reckon the first ones were better than the second, but neither are a patch on the current ones which are actually quite fun to drive. Was going to suggest they shouldn't be rusting away already, but thinking about it - it's a little while since I learned to drive so I guess they are.

The're known for it apparantly. You can get pattern parts for pre '98 models but the Nissan part is about £50 so I'll try patching it first, if that doesn't work I'll have to bite the bullet and cough up the money.

I also learnt to drive in one of the K10 Micra's on a D plate, when the engine dropped out of that one (186K) I had one of the K11's. Electronically the K10's were much better, but parts were a nightmare, as pattern parts weren't available then.
