my cousin has one, paid about 12k for it and keeps it in a box in a drawer. Only worn it two or three times in 10 years.

Welcome to the fourum AF1, loads of useful information here all about lots of things even if you can't already weld they will soon have you welding, have you got a Mig yet?, I have picked up loads of tips and tricks from the experts, and even the current sperts on here

I don't have a Mig yet, when i was about 16 I tried to weld a foot peg onto my Steel motorbike frame with an arc welder.. I didn't know what on earth I was doing.. To be honest I don't really know what I did! all i know is that it scared the living day lights out of me, big flashes and metal flying at me everywhere.

I have a friend who appears to be extremely competent with welding who did some amazing work with the sill on my Series 1 106 Rallye. I'd like to give it a go myself also i see this forum seems to have a lot of info on painting so hoping that this forum has a lot of info for my restoration.

if you want yo restore something, this is the place to be. All the info you need from where to buy materials, how to cut and shape them, weld them, finish them and paint them
