Introduction

Hi there. I am a complete newbie (actually I am a teacher!) I am trying to sell my dad's old workshop gear - drills, bearings in boxes and a Denbigh drill - painted yellow and called the yellow submarine. I know nothing about drills or welding so am not sure how i can post here. Can anyone help give me information on how to sell such equipment? Bay doesn't have anything similar - they do have the bearings - but the big equipment is more of a specialist thing. My dad is in his 70s, retired and doesn't go online at all Any ideas how i can advertise this specialised equipment? Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi

You won't be able to sell the items here, you have to be a member who has used the forum as it was intended for a certain amount of time before being allowed to list items for sale.

This is to deter dealers and people just wanting to use the forum for free advertising.

There is virtually nothing you will have that has not already been listed on ebay at some time or other, in fact there is more specialist equipment listed than anywhere else.

List them with as much detail and photo's as you can and you will find they will fetch what they are worth, checking the completed listings often reveals identical equipment and the prices it made.

A quick check shows there are 6 completed listings for old Denbigh drills.
