Is An Airline Connector Available For This?

Hi,
See attached photo, when I was thinking this through, I thought it would be straightforward to connect the hosebarbs male thread into the female adapter on the ball valve, or elsewhere in the setup straight into the female union on the ball valve. Now, I realize connecting it up like this is going to be awkward and clumsy, would have to rotate the airline with the barb fitting into the ball valve, have to do this on other end of lines fitting too. Even if I can do this, I can see a nightmare up ahead, if I have to disconnect lines for any reason. On the airline connecting to the compressor I have a quick release coupler.

Is there a fitting like this, I could use to connect the hose barb and ball valve? Would make life so much easier

I'm not very familiar with the ins and outs of couplings. ( pun intended ) adapters, unions etc.
Could you give me an ebay item number for what you mean? Then I can be sure of getting the right, thingy.

See attached fairly recent photos of airline assembly, so far. Am going to attach to the plywood, with noggins of wood under so all the same height. When assembled on this plywood will then attach to a thicker sheet of plywood I already have mounted on wall. When I mounted the hose barb in the airline earlier today to take the photo. I had to exert quite a lot of force to get it in, perhaps washing up liquid would have helped? How I got the barb in I got it in the hose as far as it would go, I then pushed hose and barb to get barb all way in. As I say quite a lot of force to do this. If I do as you say, fit the barb to valve and put, push the hose on. Might not be able to exert the force required, ( seems to me ) because of how is positioned to get the hose on properly?

OK I'll do that. I'm not sure if I will need the coupling to be releasable. I might need to move the cabinet out of the way, I put it on a Clarke mobile base. May need to move cabinet away from the the airline setup when I put it on wall, so I can move other equipment about. Are their quick release fittings available that would serve the purpose?

What size is the valve and what size is the hose?

3/8 this one has I think is called a reducing bush in it. Hose, using digital calipers OD = 24mm ID = 13mm not sure about this as rubber bore hole gives a bit when taking measurement, so may not be precise. If bore holes are all standard, stock sizes, so will be the closest stock size.

Umm quite big too, will have to use larger noggins to raise pipework up off plywood.

Have you considered ' push fits' ore navy unions unions or similar?if you look at the fittings they normally have size stamped on. 1/2 or15 mm. 3/8 or 10mm. In your case. Have fitted many over the years. Would love to help. Where are you ps don't forget p t f e. (thread tape)4or 5wraps per thread and follow the thread I e clockwise
