My compressor is of the usual direct drive 2.5HP 50L variety.
I want to replace the steel 1" BSP inspection plug on my 50L tank with a reducing bush to give me a 1/2" BSP outlet so that I can increase flow via a 1/2" BSP pressure regulator.
Would it be safe to replace the existing inspection plug with a BRASS 1" BSP to 1/2" BSP reducing bush?
In particular I'm looking at this one :-
