is the lorch 252 single or 3 phase

in the lorch book it says 3 but on weldequip and another website it says single

its the m-pro one

It's single phase and needs a supply of around 22 amps flat out.

I have been using an M-pro 252 for a couple of months and have been running it off a single phase 30 amp supply. A couple more pics here.

The model in the product catalogue/Lorch website is the M-Pro 250, which is a 3 Phase set. The 252 is a 230v single phase version designed specifically for the UK market

As Wyn says the M-Pro 252 is a single phase machine. The brochure you mean was printed before the 252 was launched, there is also a M-Pro 250, which is 250 amps 3-Phase.

thought that 250 was just a slang name for the 252 rather than 2 seperate models
