Delivery is seven quid. Regulator varies but about thirty quid. Gas depends on where you get it (rent from BOC or hobby weld stuff) but under a hundred quid.

Aye if it's a BOC cylinder then it can't be sold as they belong to BOC. I think the delivery means 500 if you collect or are in Somerset area?

not going to save much on that then,probably work out around the same price when you take out the cost of me going to fetch it

Also you got to think about warranty etc. Weldequip has been around for a while and is reliable. Not saying the ebay seller isn't but that weldequip is a known quantity.

good point , can you sell gas bottles like the ones they are selling without being rented

They might be rent free ones....but they would still more than likely be the property of whatever company they came from.

With BOC you do. The hobby options are an upfront deposit on bottle. Depends on how much you're gonna weld as to which will suit you best. Search for "volkszone offer" on here to get the best prices for rental. For the hobby stuff try looking on hobbyweld's site to find your nearest supplier and give them a bell.

For a very light user I've found the SGS Gas ok, more expensive for refills than boc but for occasional use its ok.

There is a guy on here (norlander)who has one and likes it, by all accounts easy to set up and does thick to thin stuff no problem.
