hi guys im thinking off have a butchers but the advert is lacking in info is this just a pile off pieces or a actuall compressor stripped down any info greatlly apprciated

Looks like the basic components to make a compressor, you'll need a few fittings &c. I think the price is optimistic for something that can't be seen working.

I can't see the one motor running both pumps at the same time though.

There are two pumps there but I can't see a motor ? The V twin pump is an Ingersoll Rand T30, the other is a generic pump I've seen on a number of different brands, but it's designed to run with an enclosed fan cowling for proper cooling, if thats not there you would struggle to find one.
You can't know if it all works, anything could be wrong with the pumps. T30's are vulnerable to bent cranks from having the flywheel accidently bumped for example.
There would be quite alot of work in connecting it all together, so is it worth the trouble when you could find a complete and running unit for not a huge amount more ?

PS, the pic of the motor has just become visible, it looks like the one to drive the Ingersoll Rand, so the other pump would be surplus.

is it worth bothering with. make and weld a base on tank for comp and motor /belts and pressure switch required and.wiring depening what it fetches as well

T30`s are heavy to shift, I striped mine down to carry it and can see why that one is in bits, but there is a difference in you taking it apart and putting it back together as opposed to someone else having done it things go missing don't they. The motor would be 3HP at least if not 5HP, do you have the electric supply to cope?. If the compressor and motor are good then £100 is ok you would pay similar for just a motor I should think, a good T30 will last for years, a knackerd one is just a pile of scrap, as you say the seller is a little lacking in giving any real indication of the condition of it,so are you feeling lucky.

cheers guys for the info the power supply isnt a problem nor is transportation, but maybe putting it back together is, it was just a thought as looking for something with a big tank that will run on single phase,messaged the seller yesterday but no answer of yet so looks like a no go
