I know this does not compare to the awesome projects and restorations here, but I made some simple shelves based on an idea I saw several years ago.....
The shelves are great for holding rattle cans or other items and are made from gutters. I had 30 feet of old gutters lying around from an addition we added to the house a few years ago. I had a space on one nearby wall for some 24" shelves. I cut the gutters with some hand shears, but there is probably a better way. Then, I added left and right gutter ends and simply crimped them in place.
My workbench was getting too cluttered by rattle cans, yet I use them every time I am working on a project...so I needed to add some easy to access shelving that was off the bench, yet right at hand.
