I have previously used J Blast Supafine in my home sandblaster when working on my VW camper. There are some areas that I blasted a few years ago prior to welding but then didn’t carry out the welding. Now a few years on I need to take the surface rust off before I continue.
I am about to order some more J Blast Supafine and wondered if it was worth buying a bag of J Blast Special as well for the surfaces that I previously blasted. The reason is because I don’t want to keep thinning the metal too much and I don’t think it needs such an aggressive blast second time round.
However, I am not sure if the Special would be too weak and whether it would be better to just continue with the Supafine. I thought I would see if anyone has any experience of the different grades?
When I first started blasting someone recommended the J Blast Supafine, but if there is another type of blast media I should be using or considering then please do let me know.
Thanks
