Picked this up some time ago and it looks to be in pretty good nick.
Rare as hens teeth I should imagine, made in Canada...
Quick release looks good.
Came apart easily. Only a couple of "issues". A horrible handle and some home made mild steel jaws.
Finally got around to ordering up some bar stock and some steel balls. Machined for an interference fit.
Heated up the ball and pressed it on.
Then reheat and peen over the end. It's not coming off...
Other end was a bit more tricky thanks to a blunt M12 die that insisted on on going on sideways. Note the shattered die holder and pipe wrench. I wasn't going to take no for an answer...
...and just as I have started, we're almost finished. Just need to make up some jaws.
