It's got a nylon pipe to a pressure switch in the elec panel does this type of comp keep running and just unloads or is the switch a safety and drops the comp out on high pressure
I have seen that size do both normally a selector switch continus or tank. The older hydrovanes, use to be just continues and off load via a valve. They didn't like lots of stop starts. Better to keep the oil running through than sitting boilling as they turn off.
Thanks for the replies going to use it with my blasting cab so on and running only when i have something to clean up still not sure weather that nylon pipe going to the switch is for normal operation or safety

If its like ours, the switch has got three positions - permanent on/off load, off and pressure sensing on/off. Just put the nylon pipe into your air system.
