Thought I would just say hello. I've been through a couple of MIG welders in the previous couple of decades and my present one had become a complete pain in the .... (you know where). So I thought that I would join this forum to get some feedback on what I should buy next.

Both have been SIP's. Having a lot of problems at the moment with inconsistent wire feed speeds!

Ahh, I have been using a SIP Migmate 130 Turbo for some years, I have done all the mods with the exception of the separate power supply for the drive, and it's really quite a reasonable welder now.

I too have a much modified sip 130. Which now is pretty good.
This forum has lots of detail on the mods.
