My landrover axles/stearing arms, suspension components etc are been sandblasted. After doing some research into what paint systems best suited the scenario, am i right thinking that i should epoxy prime the bare steel followed by a black polyurethane enamel ? or does it require another primer inbetween . one thing i do know about is all ppe needed to undergo 2K painting after reading through some peoples unfortunate experiences without using the required safety gear. Its looks like im buying from http://www.paints4u.com/default.aspx .If im on the wrong track could someone correct me, also my bulkhead will need a protective coating but finished finally in bronze green rather then a gloss black can i use the same primer?. And finally whats up with clear coats, is it applicable on all paints and provide additional protection and nicer finish?.
Thanks in Advance, Rob
