Just wanna say Hi to all

Well, dont know what to put in these boxes.
Been lurking for a bit so i thought i would join in.
Mainly on here to pick up tips on car restoration ( well landrovers really) and mig welding. I use MMA and TIG at work, but not so much mig. I was going to get a new chinese jobby with the largest amperage available on single phase, but in the end i opted for a clarke 205. I have read that there are better ones, but it was local, less than three months old, hardly used and a bargain.
If i need to do any larger welds, i also have an old oil filled oxford, which im happy to use all day long.

People who restore cars are liked in these parts, as are people who own a Clarke and who have a lot of experience in other processes. You'll fit in well.

Actually, most people are liked around here, they're a good bunch.

Hi wobblemonster, Disco2 TD5 for everyday and a 1988 Defender 90 with more holes than swiss cheese. i have a 3.9 v8 sat here to go in but i need to build a bigger garage and i dont like concreteing in snow
I take it yours is a D1? and repairing the rear floor? Dont worry, i think ill have that job to do in a few years time good luck
