3!! wow , this is going to be a good thread to read , I went to get mot on a iveco daily , day before head gaske went itwas blowing white smoke like a farmers bonfire , in fact james bond effect , so chucked a bottle of k seal in as to late to cancel mot , went down the road within half a mile my smoke screen cleared completly , I was amazed, passed test, ran it for couple years , never did do the head gasket. good stuff in the right curcumstances.

In theory it only crystalizes where it reaches oxygen - or so I read somewhere, so if it cured the leak, it shouldn't harm the rest of the cooling system. Just dump the water and refill?

Main ingredient sodium silicate (doesn't need oxygen, ignore the idiot above who quoted that), it's carbon dioxide it needs.
So is there a chemical that dissolves sodium silicate?
Personally, depending which Transit it is, I would scrap it...

K Seal is the best in my opinion, as per instructions, pour it in and five minutes later your problems will cease, works every time for me.
